Vicente Monje works as a scientist in the Brewing Technology platform of Carlberg’s Research Laboratory in Copenhagen, Denmark. Focused on process modeling and digitalization Vicente helps optimizing water and energy usage of current operating breweries, but also on designing the brewery of the future.
Over the last 6 years he has participated in different hybrid industry/academia experiences, ranging from biotech, to wastewater treatment; from laboratory to digitalization; bit always with a clear hint of process optimization, energy/material efficiency, and sustainability.
