BlueTech Forum Unplugged Tokyo 2026 brought together a select group of corporate water users, technology leaders, utilities, and sustainability stakeholders for an afternoon of discussion, insight-sharing, and networking at Ireland House in Tokyo.
Hosted in partnership with Kurita and supported by Enterprise Ireland, the gathering explored key themes shaping the future of industrial water management, stewardship, infrastructure resilience, and emerging technologies across sectors including manufacturing, semiconductors, food & beverage, engineering, and utilities.
Designed for senior leaders who value depth over scale, BlueTech Forum Unplugged focused on open dialogue and peer exchange rather than formal presentations or commercial showcases. Through keynote contributions, moderated roundtable discussions, and informal networking, participants shared perspectives on operational challenges, water risk, innovation priorities, and the increasing importance of collaboration across sectors.
The forum opened with remarks from the Embassy of Ireland, followed by strategic market insights and discussion sessions led by BlueTech Research. Throughout the afternoon, the emphasis remained on practical exchange, trusted conversation, and relationship-building in an intentionally curated setting.
The evening concluded with a reception and a special music and imagery performance.
We extend our sincere thanks to all participating organisations and attendees for contributing their time, expertise, and perspectives, and to Kurita, Enterprise Ireland, Patrick Torrekens, and Reiko Hiruma for their invaluable support throughout the planning and delivery of the event.
