Kim is a highly trained engineer who obtained her undergraduate and doctorate degrees in engineering science from the University of Oxford. During her studies, she conducted extensive research on membrane technologies. In 2022, she also completed a remote MBA program from Quantic. Prior to joining BlueTech Research in 2021, Kim gained extensive experience working as an R&D scientist in the UK and Hong Kong, where she focused on projects related to resource recovery, nanobubbles, and bioplastic materials. 

At BlueTech Research, Kim has authored several reports, including High-recovery RO, Water and the Hydrogen Economy, Water and the Lithium-ion Battery Value Chain, and Getting to Net-Zero GHG Emissions for Water and Wastewater Treatment. Additionally, she plays a crucial role in managing the Innovation Tracker Platform and organizing the BlueTech Innovation Showcase Pavilion at various events.
