Bill Bornak has worked in water treatment for over 30 years. His specialities include ion exchange and reverse osmosis. Bill started at Rohm and Haas, spending 10 years in research and the ion exchange departments. He spent 20 years at (then) Betz Laboratories, serving as a corporate ion exchange consultant, and director of training. In 1996, Bill left Betz to start Aqueous Solutions, a consulting firm specializing in ultraquality water treatment. In 2001 he co-founded Recirculation Technologies Inc (RTI), an on-site resin and membrane cleaning company, which also offers consulting services.
Bill has given over a thousand seminars and training sessions and published a book on ion exchange water treatment, entitled “Ion Exchange Deionization for Industrial Users”. He has also published over twenty technical papers.
Bill has an honors degree in chemistry from La Salle University and did graduate work at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the American Chemical Society and the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
