The 2014 WEFTEC Innovation Showcase is comprised of many different activities including educational sessions, networking events, and exhibits. These activities are brought to you by innovation partners BlueTech Research, WEF and Imagine H2O working together to give you information on new ideas, including:

- Innovative water technology start-up companies
- Utilities and early adopters of new technologies
- Financing and alternative project delivery
- Water clusters and other innovation incubators
- Regulations and their key relation to new technology
- Operations – where creative workforces innovate, test, and partner to make everything happen
The 2014 WEFTEC Innovation Pavilion will once again host winners from Imagine H2O’s competition, BlueTech Awards, as well as the WEF Innovation Awards and The Water Council’s Freshwater Seed Accelerator.
Highlights from 2013 WEFTEC Innovation Showcase and Programming:
- Learned how to reinvent the toilet with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, offering attendees the opportunity to see the Omni-Ingestor and OmniProcessor prototypes at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’s Water Sanitation & Hygiene exhibit.
- Learned how market and water sector leaders facilitate innovation, with input from True North Venture Partners, M3 Capital, Veolia’s Innovation Accelerator, and XPV Capital.
- Heard the top success factors from innovative utilities and early adopters from PUB Singapore, Booky Oren Global Water Technologies, and DC Water.
- Met the winners from Imagine H2O’s competition, the BlueTech Forum, WEF Innovation Awards, and The Water Council’s Global Freshwater Seed Accelerator. These startup companies presented and exhibited in the Innovation Showcase Pavilion on the topics such as resource recovery, leak detection, and innovative green infrastructure solutions.
- Collaborated with Water Clusters professionals from Confluence, The Water Council, WaterTAP Ontario and more.
