Aquaporin A/S is a cleantech company dedicated to moving the frontier for water purification through the use of nano- and bio-technological techniques. The goal of Aquaporin A/S is to develop and commercialize a novel biomimetic water membrane technology, based on aquaporin water channels.
The main strategy is to develop the Aquaporin Inside™ technology capable of separating and purifying water from all other compounds. The revolutionary Aquaporin Inside™ technology has already proven its huge market potential in field tests with future customers and the product is currently in the up-scaling and maturation phase.
Aquaporin is based in Copenhagen, Denmark and has a full implemented R&D laboratory and an R&D team with 15 scientific employees.
In order to prepare for market introduction in 2013, the subsidiary Aquaporin Asia Pte Ltd has been established in Singapore. The subsidiary will create the foundation for future business development on the attractive Asian market.
Aquaporin Inside™ membranes are available for field tests today, and Aquaporin is open to initiate further testing with new partners.
