Gerhard Forstner has more than 20 years of experience in top-level engineering and executive management positions for European and American manufacturing and sales companies. Most recently, Mr. Forstner was President of Huber Technology, Inc., based in Huntersville, NC. Huber Technology is a subsidiary of Huber SE, a leading German-based solutions provider to the wastewater industry with revenues in excess of EUR 150 million. During his five year tenure as President of Huber Technology, he grew revenues from $5 million to $28 million. Prior to being appointed to the President’s position, Mr. Forstner worked as Regional Sales Manager, Applications Engineer and Project Manager at Huber Technology. These previously held positions allowed him to gain extremely valuable insight into the North American wastewater market and its stakeholders. Previous to Huber Technology, Mr. Forstner was Engineering Manager at American Monforts in Charlotte, NC, the US-subsidiary of A. Monforts Textilmaschinen (Monforts), a leading worldwide manufacturer of textile machinery based in Moenchengladbach, Germany. Prior to coming to the United States he worked as a design engineer at Monforts Headquarters in Germany. Mr. Forstner was born in Salzburg, Austria and grew up in the central province of Styria, where he graduated with a BS in EE from the Technical College of Engineering Kapfenberg. Mr. Forstner also holds a M.B.A from the McColl School of Business from Queens University in Charlotte, NC.
