Dr. Stover joined Desalitech in 2011 to lead the company’s business development, product launch and commercialization efforts.
Prior to Desalitech, Dr. Stover was Chief Technical Officer and SVP of Marketing for Energy Recovery, Inc. There he was responsible for engineering, research and development and subsequent global product launch of the PX Pressure Exchanger energy recovery device and peripheral products for seawater reverse osmosis desalination. He held responsibility for the technical and commercial effort that took ERI from a startup operation through a very successful global launch and IPO. Dr. Stover also previously served as Vice President of Oasys Water where he was responsible for product development and commercialization of forward osmosis processes for desalination, water reuse and osmotic power.
Dr. Stover obtained his Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley in 1996. His B.Sc. degree in Chemical Engineering is from the University of Texas at Austin. He was co-recipient of the European Desalination Society’s 2006 Sidney Loeb award for outstanding innovation.
