Dr. Mirka Wilderer is recognized as one of the leading female executives in the water industry with deep experience in corporate strategies, business transformation, and cross-functional leadership in global organizations. She is known as a “get-things-done” executive that inspires and collaborates with leaders to translate bold strategies into agile action plans that accelerate the execution of strategic initiatives to rapidly scale enterprise value. Her personal mission is to lead business transformation by tapping into all available talents to drive innovative solutions for a sustainable future.
From 2019 until recently, Mirka served as the first female Chief Executive Officer of De Nora Water Technologies. Prior to De Nora, Mirka was General Manager at Evoqua Water Technologies, where she held various roles. Mirka started her career at Siemens AG as strategy consultant and held positions in Germany, China, Thailand, Indonesia, the United States and South Africa. Leveraging the time between jobs, Mirka recently launched her passion project “Diversity in Water”, an inclusive network for executive and emerging leaders in the water space to champion and advance diversity.
