Steve is responsible for Xylem’s long range technology and business-model innovation. As habitual attitudes to sustainable water are forced to evolve through changes in technology, social attitudes and regulation, it is essential to discover, develop and deploy these new technologies through new business models in order to achieve Water-for-All affordability, and solve for water resilience & scarcity.
A mechanical engineer by training, Steve has worked as such in the automotive, telecoms, and pharmaceutical sectors, before moving into the Cambridge, UK, start-up tech-sector where he has operated in and exited a range of start-ups, as well as serving in technology consultancies where he has enabled SME’s and Blue-Chips to deliver on their innovation potential.
