Karl Michael Millauer is the Senior Vice President of Aquatech International. Aquatech International is a major investor in QUA Group, and Karl serves as their management representative, presenting overviews on QUA products.
A native of Austria, Karl holds two doctorate degrees from the University of Vienna (Law and General Business Administration). For his post-graduate, he also attended the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna, where he specialized in International Business.
After completing a trainee program at a prominent Austrian Bank, Karl entered the industry and served as CFO for a high temperature isolation materials group and later for a high-end textile group. Since 2001, Karl has been heavily active in the water industry. He first joined Austria’s BWT (Best Water Technology) as COO, directly responsible for industrial and municipal water business. He continued with a spinoff of the division from BWT, the Christ Water Technology Group. When the Christ Water Technology Group was listed separately on the Vienna Stock Exchange in late 2005, Karl was CEO of the organization. In 2008, he left Christ Water Technology and joined Aquatech International, a corporation based in Canonsburg, PA. As Senior Vice President, he was responsible for global new business development, merger and acquisitions, licensing, development of European and African Business and for BOT/BOOT, as well as private equity financing.
