Joshua Griffis is the Director of Technology & Innovation for Evoqua Water Technologies’ Integrated Solutions and Services segment. He joined Evoqua in 2014 and has held multiple positions involving the design, scale-up, and deployment of water treatment products and processes. His current program is tasked with developing novel water treatment solutions through a combination of technology scouting and process development.
Joshua holds numerous pending and granted patents, and was honored as Evoqua’s Inventor of the year in 2017 and 2022. He obtained his B.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering from Trinity College in Hartford, CT. He also holds an M.Sc. in Innovation and Strategic Management and an M.B.A. in Entrepreneurial Enterprise from Salve Regina University in Newport, RI. He currently lives in Ashburnham, MA, and, outside of work, enjoys spending time with his family, watching sports, lifting weights, and being active.
