Scott McCready is Chief Strategy Officer for the Alliance for Water Stewardship, a sustainability standard system for water stewardship and a global, multi-stakeholder membership alliance of diverse organisations impacted by water use. Based in London, and in his seventh year with AWS, Scott leads strategic engagement with the private, public, and civil society organizations linked to the value chains of major water-using business sectors. Scott holds an MSc Hons in Politics from the University of Glasgow and a master’s in water governance from Kings College London. Prior to joining AWS he worked for international NGO WaterAid and held several roles within the private sector.
