Marissa Sterling is a Platform Associate at Burnt Island Ventures, where she helps the team find the best water entrepreneurs globally and post-investment supports those founders to build the best water companies in the world. Prior to joining BIV, Marissa studied international trade and water law, and played a role in building an entrepreneurial ecosystem around water founders in Jordan and the broader Middle East region. Marissa is a graduate of Columbia University, Georgetown Law, Sciences Po Law School – Paris, and The Jewish Theological Seminary of America.
