Guillaume Binet has 20 years’ experience in the water sector, during which he has developed expertise in various topics such as modelling, asset management and real-time operation. He is currently in charge of the Urban Drainage department of a SUEZ R&D center, developing new and efficient solutions to ensure wastewater and stormwater collection in urban areas. SUEZ is a worldwide operator and one of the European Union’s premier suppliers of environmental services in the waste management and water sectors.
Guillaume is also leading the Digital Water Cluster of the WssTP – European Water Supply and Sanitation Technology Platform – that aims at fostering research and technologies development to make the European water sector a leading centre of expertise for providing safe, clean and affordable water services while protecting nature.
Guillaume has an engineering degree from French Ecole Centrale de Lyon with a specialization in environmental sciences.
