Tuija Pohjolainen-Hiltunen has 25+ years of experience in managing global business operations, leading organizations, and driving major transformation projects within multinational companies. She is currently President of Kemira’s Industry & Water global business. Our ambition is to become the global leader in sustainable chemical solutions for water intensive industries and municipalities.
While Tuija’s passions are people and talent development, she also has a strong technical background, with expertise in water treatment for municipalities and water intensive industries, as well as good working knowledge of pulping and paper process technology. In recent years she has focused on major change management projects and profitability turn around cases in large organizations, both in Europe and US.
Tuija is a native Finn who has lived and worked in Poland, Italy and currently in US where she lives in Atlanta, Georgia. She holds a Master degree in Clean technology and Pulp & Paper technology.
