As the head of Kemira’s Corporate Sustainability function, Rasmus Pinomaa drives the global corporate sustainability agenda and further develops related capabilities through engaging with key stakeholders, facilitating the top management discussions and decision making, supporting strategy, coordinating the Sustainability Steering Team and developing the Kemira sustainability program. He has a proven record of turning the strategic focus on sustainability into tangible action within the organization.
Pinomaa joined Kemira in the beginning of 2021. Prior to joining Kemira he has trailblazed the sustainability transformation agenda for the Chemical Industry Federation of Finland, building transformation roadmaps around climate change mitigation and circular economy acceleration. He has also worked with innovation project management for the development and commercialization of sustainable products. He has 11 years of professional experience from the chemical industry.
