Terri Jordan an experienced VP of New Business Development Asahi Kasei. Most recently she has been involved in their Corporate Venture Capital Division where she has focused on identifying, developing and executing business plans for portfolio companies including start-ups and emerging entities in hard COD, ZLD, UV, nutrient detection and others. While at Asahi Kasei she also worked at Crystal IS as Senior Vice President of Business Development focused on commercializing a breakthrough UV LED technology, a prior winner of the Disrupt-o-meter award. Previous roles include 15 years of experience in technology, business, and quality leadership positions in GE materials businesses. Additionally she has held executive level commercial positions at Konarka Technologies, a solar startup and Victrex plc, a high performance materials company. She currently also is President & Board Chair at Solar Sister, Inc., a nonprofit focused on building a woman-centered direct sales network to bring clean energy products to rural Africa. Terri holds a chemical engineering degree from Tufts University and a Ph.D. from University of Connecticut. She has published in refereed journals and is a US Patent holder. She Terri is married with 3 grown children and currently resides New York.
